My Huge Nixie Disappointment

My package of long awaited Nixie Cosmetics products finally arrived today. Many people swear these are a MAC clone and I have watched endless You Tube videos of their products being swatched. Well, I get my order of 6 eyeshadow refills and 6 cheek refills for the palettes I bought and they all have Methyl and Propyl parabens in them. Aaaagh! They even included a bonus pack of makeup wipes - which contains MCI, MIT and Methylparaben. I called and am sending everything but my palettes back.

Nixie does not list their ingredients on the website and they never did answer my e-mail request about their product ingredients. Both the blush and eye products have similar ingredients. The print on the blush is so faint, I can't read it.

Nixie Eyeshadow Refill: Talc, Lauroyl Lysine, Caprylic/Carpic Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Aluminum Hydroxide, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Silic, Camellia Kissi Seed Oil, Vitis Vinfera (grape) Seed Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben. May contain Bismuth Oxychloride, etc.

BTW, the 6 well palette is fantastic! The 12 well one is coated cardboard. The well sizes are 36mm (MAC is 26mm - thanks TwixtBeTwixt).
