I just used the Pantene once and here I am four days later with welts and infected pimply things all over my head. I just want to cry. There is a trail of destruction going from the back of my head, down my neck and halfway down my back. Back in the old days, I used to use Pantene regularly. I had spots and pimples all over my neck and back, but the dermatologist told me it was just regular acne. It went away when I started using Jason's a few months ago. All those years I thought I just had crappy skin. Aaaagh!
Pretty certain the culprits for my burns and irritation are the MCI and MIT common in most shampoos and body washes. If I can finally heal from this, I swear I will never use any product with these ingredients ever again!
Pantene Ingredients: Water , Ammonium Laureth Sulfate , Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate , Sodium Chloride , Glycol Distearate , Citric Acid , Cocamide MEA , Panthenol , Panthenyl Ethyl Ether , Dimethicone , Fragrance , Cetyl Alcohol , Sodium Citrate , Sodium Benzoate , Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride , Disodium EDTA , Hydrogenated Polydecene , Trimethylolpropane Tricaprylate/Tricaprate , Ammonium Xylenesulfonate , Methylchloroisothiazolinone , Methylisothiazolinone
Also Ammonium Laureth Sulfate and Amomonium Lauryl Sulfate are similar to Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)--want to get away from these
ReplyDeleteSideaffects:
soaps and shampoos containing sodium laureth sulfate can lead to direct damage to the hair follicle, skin damage, permanent eye damage in children and even liver toxicity. (You can always google more about it)
